When it is needed
- New fan supply, where the installation sets the vibration and bearing life for years
- Relocation of an existing fan
- A fan that was installed by others and has never run right
- Plants that want one point of contact for spares, repairs and site visits
What we do
- Check the foundation and grouting, set the fan level, align the coupling or belt drive to tolerance
- Check rotation viewed from the drive end, clearances at the inlet cone, seal fitting, lubrication, guard fitting
- First run with vibration and current recorded, then the duty point measured and compared with the selection
- Hand over with the test record, the balancing record and the maintenance schedule
- After sales: spares, repairs, site visits and a 24 hour support line, with each ticket tracked until it is closed
What you get
- A fan that starts at its design point with a recorded baseline
- Documents the plant will need later: alignment record, first run readings, operating point
- A support contact who knows the fan because they installed it
The commissioning readings are the baseline every later service works from. A fan commissioned without them is a fan with no history.
